Thanks to the control it exerts on the pH levels in the blood, sodium bicarbonate allows the functioning and activities of body cells to be kept in good condition; therefore, it prevents health problems, such as gastritis, diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, acidity in the blood or urine, infections, heart and pancreatic diseases, and cancer.
1. As Antacid
Baking soda is a safe and effective anti-acid for relieving heartburn, heartburn, and / or indigestion since baking soda immediately neutralizes stomach acid. The dosage is generally 1-2 teaspoons in a full glass of water.
2. Homemade toothpaste
